We had our first heavy rain yesterday which I have to say was great. It was a super dry rainy season last year. It is a beautiful morning right now and weather should be nice for the trip. Just to give you an idea of what the scene will look like for the kids when they arrive. They will walk through customs and immigration and then outside the airport where they will meet us. We all know Jennifer and assuming she has not changed her hair style we should recognize her but we also have signs with our logo on it and East Ridge on it. Jonthan and Jheudy the two naturalist guides will be meeting the kids and walk them to the area where we load the buses. We will all pile in the buses where the drivers will introduce themselves, I will introduce myself, videographer, and then Jonathan & Jheudy take over. They will arrive in the San Jose airport which is at an elevation of 3,000ft and is located in what is called the Central Valley which is closed in by volcanoes and mountains. The hotel we will be staying at the first night is at an elevation of 5,000ft which down here we consider chilly but for you guys just getting over winter Im sure it will be nice Spring weather. The picture above is a picture of the valley at night. If you look close you can actually see the Costa Rica San Jose airport from here. Well that is it for now and stay tuned because it is getting very close to show time!!!

Tom, a.k.a. The Blogger, thank you so much for creating this blog! And we love today's posting. Jack and Drew just got back from dinner with Brian and me, and are now doing some final packing. Then it is off to bed. They'll be meeting Jason at 4 a.m. at his house...and then off to Costa Rica!
